These flexible, T-shaped silicone foam spacers feature a pressure-sensitive acrylic adhesive on the side. The shoulder design creates a pocket for application of the PIB (polyisobutylene) sealant for durable units and highly efficient automated processing. T-Spacer is compatible with all secondary sealants, including the UV-stable silicone sealants required for structural glazing. This triple edge seal system made of silicone foam is especially designed for easy manual processing in large-format insulating glass as well as facade glass. The PIB (polyisobutylene) sealant is pre-applied during the spacer bar manufacturing for simplified sealed unit production.
