The Passive House Institute tests and certifies products with regard to their suitability for use in passive houses. The Passive House Institute also makes the tested thermal parameters visible which make it possible to forecast the future energy balance of a building.
All certified Super Spacer® exceed the required minimum for the specific edge resistance and are thus certified for arctic climates as well as any climate zone with lower requirements. The Super Spacer® Premium warm edge has an edge resistance of 6.11 m K/W. It has been classified in the highest efficiency class phA+. This product also achieves best values of up to 0.028 [W/mK] for the heat transfer coefficient.

RAL quality labels are a reliable orientation aid and identify a particularly high quality of products and services. Insulating glass windows may only bear the RAL quality label if the spacers, drying agents and sealants used in the production process are also used in production and are also RAL quality-controlled. Therefore, we have successfully subjected four products of the Super Spacer® family successfully to the demanding RAL testing procedure.
